For all those that ask, "Why drive around with it on?"

Ive heard that some aftermarket bumpers will require you to install the hook first before installing the bumper. If you dont do this you either wont be able to install it at the time of a problem, or you will scratch your paint everytime you turn it to screw it in.

Or because on some cars it looks cool...

yes it scratches the amuse. however, you cant see where it scratches... but id say u should leave it on instead of putting it on and off.. which will keep scratching it. thats what i did

Finally did this because apparently the Amuse will not allow me to install the tow hook later.

Toggle Bolts... maybe 1/4" thick and 3" long.

I use it to protect my front bumper somewhat.

I drive in Boston a lot and parallel parking would rape my bumper, so the hook kind of helps protect it.

ok so if u want to use the tow hook, u get it from the trunk, then take off ur license plate bracket, and screw it on? and then when ur done unscrew it and put the license plate back on correct? or is there a place where u can screw it and not have to take down the front license plate?
