I have leather seats and therefore can't mount mine under the passenger seat, therefore i've mounted it between the two speakers on top of the two cubby's. I've made sure its securely mounted so that when i brake hard i don't get cold cocked by the bloody thing. It also makes for easy acces should i need it in a hurry, which is when you normally need it.

I know this is an old thread and dont mean to bump.
I have a 07 350z and just wasted "time and money" the brackets are completely different than the op's so I was unable to use this DIY which is highly disappointing since this is such a nice and clean way of doing it. But hopefully other Z owners 07+ see this before they head to the hardware store.

Sorry for hijacking old thread but after trying few times to make my own fire extinguisher bracket I found the solution:

Bought this fire extinguisher mount:
https://f4fabrications.com/product/n...guisher-mount/

And this fire extinguisher (sort of premium):
https://fireextinguisherdepot.com/am...ul-rating-2b-c

Worked like a charm!
