Aftermarket Hub, QR, & steering wheel install DIY
The parts:
Worksbell short hub + extra SRS resistor
Signal Auto QR
G-Corporation Obake Steering wheel (90mm dish, 350mm diameter)
The tools:
small allen wrench (supplied with WB hub)
T30 tamper-free Torx bit
small flathead screwdriver
Long Ratchet
Short Ratchet
small extension
19mm socket
10mm socket
exacto knife (optional, depends on steering wheel horn button)
Step1: Center factory wheel. Disconnect Battery. Bleed any/all remaining power out of the lines by holding the brake pedal down for 10 seconds. You DO NOT want that airbag to deploy while you fiddle with it.
Step2: Use small screwdriver to pop off bolt covers on both sides of the factory wheel. Use small ratchet and T30 torx bit to remove bolts
Step3: Pull airbag assembly out.
Step4: Disconnect airbag wires. Replace with supplied resistors. Disconnect grey horn wiring harness. Replace with supplied harness. Use 19mm socket and long ratchet to remove nut on the steering column. Pull steering wheel off.
Step5: Remove plastic ring from WB hub, install hub. Use long ratchet and 19mm socket to install supplied crush washer and nut. Tuck wires into the center and reinstall the WB plastic ring.
Step6: Connect horn wire to QR horn wire. Install QR base, use supplied allen wrench to secure base to the Hub.
Step7: Install QR wheel piece to wheel (verify QR base and wheel are centered). -Optional- Use exacto knife to shave inner tabs of horn button until it fits snugly in the QR. Connect QR horn wire to steering wheel horn button, press horn button in place.
Step8: Reconnect battery. Start the car, test steering and QR. Make sure there is absolutely no loose play in turning or the QR. Enjoy your new wheel and don't be stupid, wear your seatbelt!
Here's a comparison of before for deep dish wheel distance:

installed my wb hub about 2 weeks ago, couple of days ago my airbag light came on, and just today my interior turn signal indicators stopped working (but turn signals still work). Installed the resistors just like in the picture, visually checked the fuses they are still good, going to get a multimeter to double check the fuses tomorrow, is there something i mess up on? thanks.

Ive installed a momo hub and steering wheel. After it is all connected, i started up the car and i felt the steering was very tight as if i had no power steering. any idea what could be the problem, i didnt get to drive it due to the heavy rain, but i moved it back and forth in the garage while i was turned and usually the steering wheel would correct itself going straight. any advice would help me sleep fine tonight as i cannot figure out what is wrong.
P.S i never connted horn or airbags & when i turn, the whole plastic that holds our ignition/turn signal/wipers would flex a little.

Thanks for the write up. I recently installed the NRG short hub and quick release. I'd like to turn off the annoying SRS light. Does anyone know what resistors I need to do this?
2.2 ohm? 1/2 watt?
