Looks really close... adjust passenger side light by tilting slightly clockwise (as you are looking at the light from the front of the car), and raise it up slightly.

The tops of each cutoff pattern should be aligned... and that will make the bottoms aligned as well. The drivers side light now looks good and even, so use that to align the passenger light to.

Unfortunately, your bumper cover may have to come off again to get to the headlight bolts... you cannot adjust the headlight adustment point for rotation and have to phyically move the light.

P.s. looks great guys! I took out my parking bulb like tight350z did And just left it out. JMC813 you may want to do the same.

I know to raise or lower i turn the gear underneath the headlight, but what to you mean to tilt it? What am i supposed to tilt the headlight as a whole?

Yes, tilt headlight as a whole.

if my cutoff isnt perfect after i put my headlight back together and seal them, is the only way to adjust them by taking apart the headlight again? since im only adjusting the bulb, cant i just do it by taking off the front bumper? Also, when im looking to see if the cutoff is good, do I just check to see if both lights are in a straight line?

You should not have to take apart your headlights again to adjust, you most likely can just loosen the bolts that hold your headlight onto the car and physically rotate the light (which is why you need your bumper off, the bottom bolt can only be accessed when it's off).

The pattern you are looking for is to have the bottom of both cutoff's line up, and the tops both line up.

Quick and dirty in MS Paint:

Of course, that is assuming you are in a left-hand drive country... If you drive on the right (England, Australia, Japan, etc...) it would be a mirror image of that.

just got this finished a couple days ago... i may have an issue though... so i didn't do the spacer in there, becuase the old lens is exactly the same size as the new, and it fit great in my housing... now that my light from the headlights is wierd, i think maybe it's there to refocus the light? i i have done NOTHING to readjust my headlights yet... should i try this first before i freak out about opening the housing again? heres some pics btw... turned out amazing... the color at the cutoff makes me grin ear to ear as i drive around... so awesome to see that rainbow on the back of every car... and then the halo mod... wow at night... and the blacked out housing... pure sex... and to top it off, FLipper_z did a fantastic job on my reflectors... mad props to him, they are amazingly bright, and crystal clear... now if i could only get my hid bulb to match the color of his leds... i'll have better pics once i get her waxed up... been fricken raining every day

Looks great man!

Yes, try adjusting first. However, the spacer was there to correct focus... post up pics of the cut-off, let's take a look!

Also, don't sweat re-opening them. I did on mine, much easier the second time.

OMFG HELP Umm I screwed up big time! Has anyone swapped out the turn signal led's in their headlight when doing this mod? I did and I think I blew out the resistor. I am not getting continuity from the soildered power input in the circuit board to the led's I am obviously not up on circuitry, I am only an electrician so i know enough to be dangerous. HELP would be a GREAT GREAT THING
