Default Engine bolt Dress Up without buying a kit.

I am dressing up my engine bay with chrome bolts and I can do it for much less than what you can pay to buy a kit which is only polished stainless that tarnishes. If you go to the link below there are several types of fasteners to choose from and there hella cheap.

http://www.allensfasteners.com/default.asp

Here is what I have so far in bolt dimensions.

Plenum
Long Bolt 6mm x 1.00 x 60mm (1ea)
Center Bolts 6mm x 1.00 x 50mm (6ea)
Outer Bolts 6mm x 1.00 x 30mm (9ea)
Side nuts 6mm x 1.00 Hex nut (they have locking nuts as well)
Washers 6mm FW Chrome (16ea)

Head Light Bolts
6mm x 1.00 x 20mm (2ea)
Washers 6mm FW Chrome (2ea)

Front brace bolts

mm x 1.25 x 30mm (6ea)
Washers 8mm FW Chrome (6ea)

Strut Bar

Bolts 10mm x 1.25 x 30mm (6ea)
Nut 10mm x 1.25 Hex Nut (2ea)
Washers 10mm FW Chrome (8ea)

Power Steering bolts
6mm x 1.00 x 30mm (3ea)

This all cost me to include shipping. $71.32

If anyone has any other info in regards to bolt sizes in the engine bay and what could be dressed up please feel free to add to the list.

Then he could have said, hey can you post up pics so we can see what it looks like, in stead of that smart a$$ post of the smilies.

I understand that pics need to be posted. I am waiting on the parts to arrive.

Will do guys, yeah i know i got a little heated, my car is pissing me off. I have been dealing with crap all day trying to get the car ready for zdays. were leaving tonight and I have been under the hood cleaning things up, moving my wiring harness and touching up issues with the car, so my nerves are a little on edge.

I will get the pics up the second I get the bolts. I cant wait to see it installed.

Nice it will look about the same as the Gallery Fresh bolt kit but you saved over a hundred bucks. You missed the bolts for the hood though, you should get those too.

Best bet is to wait till you have all the bolts then make a thread with a step by step of the install.
