Default Purchased Nismo Brake Pads - Help!!!

Okay, hit me now for not reading all the posts on brake pads.

I purchased/installed Nismo (non-Brembo) brake pads for both the front tires.

I read that the Nismo pads eat up the rotor... Is that ture?

Can someone who has the same pads, let me know what to expect and what to watch out for.

Thanks
