Default Stoptech 14" Front BBK, drilled OEM rear Install

I just installed my 14" Front BBK with drilled rotors, SS lines and in the rear I used Stoptech drilled one piece aero-rotors, with SS lines and Hawk pads.

After vacuum bleeding, bedding pads and seasoning the rotors, the stopping force is unbelievable.

Click on pics to enlarge.

Front and Rear, stock.

Front and Rear after install. There is less than 3/8" between caliper and inside of wheel.

Not too bad. The biggest pain in the butt was jacking up the car and taking off the the wheels. The Stoptech instructions were very good. I used Griot's Garage brake line vacuum bleeder, one man job. I think it took about 5 hours total, not including bedding the brakes.

Congrats! Enjoy them...and don't be afraid to really use them (for example...on a track)!

Looks great. I wasn't sure the 18" non Track wheels would clear the 14" kit. I wonder if they will clear in the rear as well. The big question is how did you decide to run the brake lines in the front?

I'm not quite sure what you mean about how to run the brake lines in the front??
I followed the Stoptech instructions for routing the lines and everything worked fine.

Well if you have read this forum you will see that there is a kind of debate over the method of routing the lines since some people have had problems with their lines after use. If you followed Stoptechs instructions then you mounted the gold bracket on the line to the black bracket that held the stock line. This wasn't working for me, and I was told there were revised instructions, so I mounted it in place of that black bracket and completely removed the black bracket per the new instructions.

Understood. I must have had the revised instructions. It was a little difficult to orient at first, but it all worked out. I used the outboard stock bracket to mount the SS line.
