Default brake squeek

So i installed a set of rear hawks HPS pads on the rear brembos a couple weeks ago, and I am still having this loud squeeking (I MEAN LOUD) if I am going slow and my brakes are 75% pushed in. A week ago i took out the pads and sprayed the back of the pad with disc brake quiet and it fixed to prob for a few days but now its back to making that loud squeeking that never happened with the old brake pads (brembo oe pads). Any idea whats the problem? im hoping that once broken in more they will stop making this really embarassing noise.

Did you check your rotors? I noticed you have had your 350Z for awhile now and your rotors might be toast. Did you get them resurfaced? I would check the rotor for a groove in it near the outside and check the rotor width to see if it is within the acceptable widths.

Well whenever you change pads you should resurface the rotor. Did you do that? How many miles on the rotors?

Did you break in your pads properly? I had the same thing when I newly replaced both my rotors & pads. The Hawks HPS are well known for loud squeeking unless you properly embed them. There's another post around here on how to properly break in/embed your breaks.

BTW...the squeeking is prominently noticeable during cold weather. Once the pads heat up, it goes away. If this is exactly what you're experiencing, you should look for this particular thread.
