Do Hawk Brake Pads Still Squeak?

I have heard a few rumors that they squeak a lot. is this true?What would be a good alternative besides hawks?

I have front and rear Hawks... No squeaking, no dust, and no problems stopping.

If they are squeaking, they weren't installed/bed correctly. There's a full thread on how to install.
