Will my new rims/tires/springs fix feathering?

Will my new rims/tires/springs fix feathering?
so I just ordered my rims/tires (ADR m-sports with Kumho MXs, 18x8.5F w/255/40 and 18x9.5R w/275/40) and I have my first appointment with my dealer for tire feathering next week. assuming that my dealer gives my some new tires and an alignment for my stock 17's, if I change out to my new rims/tires after that will I still run into tire feathering? I was also planning on putting on some tein s-techs and then doing an alignment at a shop after that. will the s-techs worsen the tire feather issue or help? anyone with experience plz help...I would hate to stick on my new rims/tires just to end up with a larger tire bill later.
thanks...
thanks...

Nissan believes it will not make it worse, or better, since they claim it is all on the TOE adjustment. So be your setup what it might be, if you can get TOTAL front Toe between 0.0 and 0.2, you "should" be fine (re: feathering). Switching between the 18's and the 17's once the car is properly aligned should have no effect. The Teins will have no effect assuming you get the car aligned again after that install.

you'll need a new alignment after you install your new wheels... the wider tires will alter the stance on the car (bigger footprint) and probably thow the alignment off by a few mm's or so
even though I took my car into the dealer a week before installing my 19s, i still needed to re-align... and the "before" specs were off-spec

I've got the STech w/RH J8. Went back to stock cause I bent a rim on a damn pothole. Got it realigned. Now just waiting for the new wheel, then another alignment. Seems to be fine from looking at the tire wear, although I may not be affected by the feathering. I've got an 04 w/10,xxx miles.

stock tires are fine. the J8's have bridgestone s03 which is pretty soft rubber. with all my stereo in the trunk and the stech, i couldn't get the camber to spec in the rear. so there's a little uneven wear, but the front is perfect.

Damn, didn't even realise your location. The guy that runs the Z club is an SCCA instructor. Very nice guy from what I hear. I'm gonna try to check them out one day, but their cruise is on sunday and I work. I can email you the form to join if you like. It's $35/yr, free shirt, discount at New City Nissan etc. For more info, you can PM fdao too. He was a member but sold his Z for an S4. Not sure if he's still a member but he does keep intouch with Zclub owner.

nah...thats ok....I got the application already. I wouldn't really care too much about the sunday drive or the discount, but it might be worth joining just to see what other guys are doing with their Z's around here and get feedback on some of their mods. what model/color/mods Z you got? maybe I'll see you around!

damn stu- you car is sick!!! I wish I could've afforded some 19" volks but the prices locally or shipped here were too much for me to stomach. did you buy your rims locally? where did you buy your stechs and who installed them? who did you go through for you alignment? thnx
