Hope you guys don't take this the wrong way but I have some concerns about powder coating the calipers. I work in powder coating and have for over 12 years now. I am not trying to come off as an expert but a good bit of that time was spent in R&D so I'd like to think I know a little bit about the subject.
With that said...there is an inherent problem with powder coating the calipers and/or pads and that is heat! With the stock brake system (non-track models) the rotors can reach temperaturs of 800 F.
(Track rotors can reach temps of 700 F.) With those kind of temps you can count on the calipers also seeing a high amount of heat.
Powder coating is basically made up of three components.... Resin, Pigment, and Additives. Unless you're using a ceramic based resin system, the base can't withstand prolonged heat in excess of 400-450 F.
For the sake of argument let's say you do get Ceramic Powder Coating. Three of the main colors talked about are Red, Blue, and Yellow. All of which are very bright colors. The only way to achieve those bright colors is by using organic pigments, which are not known for their heat stability. Not to say that you can't get some high heat organic pigments but they are EXPENSIVE!!! In the range of $150+/lb. (for the pigment).
So even if the resin base stands up to the heat, the color most likely won't. Not to say it won't look good for a while but I can't imagine that the color won't fade drastically over the first year, especially the red and yellow (there are some cheaper more readily available high heat stable blue pigments)
Since I work for a manufacturer and have access to the materials and equipment, I considered powder coating my calipers and wheels. Unfortunately we don't manufacture ceramic based coatings, so the calipers are out. The wheels are something I am still considering.
Anyway, not trying to rain on anyone's parade. Besides you know what they say...opinions are like A-holes....everyone has one and sometimes they stink

I also have a Lemans Sunset Z and I painted my calipers body color. I went to my local dealer and first asked for the matching paint in a spray can form but when the parts manager said that Nissan didn't make body color paint in the spray form I just went with a couple of tubes of the brush on touch up paint. I cleaned the calipers first then painted all 4 which took 1.5 tubes. It looks great and it's held up too- even with a couple of "brake squeeling", 95 degree days at the local road course!
