Default Stoptech 13" Front Brakes

I just ordered them.

But I haven't seen any pictures of a red 13" stoptech front brake kit on a 19" rim. I'm hoping it wont look too small.

Anyone got pictures?

And, how does this 13" kit compare to the Brembo's on the Track? Which are bigger?

They will fill the rim space nicely. I have the silver 13" kit on the front with 19" Volk LE37ts. The nice thing about the 13" kit is that it doesn't add as much weight and you can still use a 17" wheel if desired.

is that a proven fact about being able to use the stock 17s with the Stoptech 13" BBK???? I have been trying to find someone that has done it themselves and not just heard that it fits. I dont want to spend the money on a 4 wheel BBK that I think will fit with the stock 17s only to find out it wont. I know the track model Brembo's fit with the stock 17s no problem and have seen that in person.

I have the front 13" StopTech kit under the 17" OEM wheels, and I can tell you for sure that it fits. Not 100% sure on the rears, but I would suspect that they would fit, too. A quick call to StopTech could probably confirm that for you, though.

I also have the 13" Stoptech kit under the 17" stock wheels. It does fit.

Hi guys,
Our 13.1" (332mm) Front and 12.9" (328mm) Rear setup with the 2-piston caliper in the back will fit under the stock 17's, Touring 18's, and Track Model 18's. I have personally seen all of them, and no fitment issues. In fact, I personally ran stock 17's on my front 332mm setup at one point.

I'm going with the 13 inch front kit too, hopefully very soon and I know it fits under the 17x9 +27 wheel I use for track duty. Seen some pics of it recently on this board.

I'm looking at getting a 13" front kit only in silver for the time being ($$$ being an issue) and later upgrading the rears as well... zzzya, do you have any pics of the setup? I have a BS G35 coupe and Merc Silver Winnings and wanted to keep the silver theme going (it's going to be either silver or black - I have the front inserts of my nismo bumper painted black and also the rear diffuser area between/around the exhaust tips painted black, so it could go either way) - thanks (if you get a chance to post a pic that is )

Yes...our rear 2 piston can be added at any time...not an issue at all. I often recommend this route to my customers. I tell them to get the fronts when they need them, and add the rears later IF they need them. Some people eventually do, others find that the fronts are sufficient for their needs, budget, etc.

Can you do the 14" FR kit only in silver. Then add the rear later?

J Ritt, do you know if your 4 wheel 13" BBk would fit if I had 17x8.5 wheels with a +31 offset on all four corners? I am interested in a BBK and a set of SSR Comp-H in the size mentioned but don't know if I would have any clearance issues...

430ZTT,
I don't know if that wheel will fit or not. Check the wheel fitment charts on our website to be certain. Call the vendor you are planning to buy the wheels from, and have them check for you. They should be happy to take a couple of minutes and do this if they're about to make money off of you selling you wheels. If you are using Tire Rack, ask for Luke Pavlic. The charts very easy to use:
