Free brake pedal travel after fluid change?

Free brake pedal travel after fluid change?

Hello,

I get at least an inch of free pedal travel before brakes really engage. That happened after fluid and pads change (Hawk HPS/Superblue) after racing. Any ideas?
Air left in the system?

Sounds like you got air in the brake system. Try bleeding your brakes. If you already did, I'd take it to the shop and have them take a look at it.

Wow reply in 5 secs. They supposedly bled the braked, could they do that w/o removing the wheels? Cause they did not have the key.

They could, but it would be a pain in the *** and probably cause them to **** up and suck a little air into your brake system causing your problem.

If you have the track model the brembos have the bleeder vavle on the front/side of the caliper, so it is very possible.

I have the touring model, FSM does not say anything about removng the wheels. Could the air get in when the guy was changing the pads?
