Default Shock removal - Freakin stuck bolt @$#%%@^!!!!

Trying to remove the stock shocks (front) and I can't break the bolt on the lower (traverse?) link.

What I'm using:
Electric impact wrench - probably max's out at 200 ft/lbs

Have tried:
1. wd40 - letting it soak
2. heating bolt with torch (granted a pretty weak culinary torch compliments of the wife) and then at it with the impact wrench

What the ????? is up nissan and their bolts? Service manual calls for 70 ft/lbs.

Any ideas would be appreciated. In the meantime I gave it a good spray of wd40. Hopefully overnight something will happen. Is there any chance that the pressure of the spring would cause this?

There's no way these could be reverse threads... could they? Man, I feel pretty stupid at this point.

I did this to an oil drain plug once, I was tightening versus loosening. I felt like an *** when the wife saw what I was doing wrong, LMAO!

Not sure if thats your problem, I doubt it though, GL!

Forget all those modern methods. What you need is a quality breaker bar and a 3 foot cheater pipe and use man power. I have seen the best impact guns out there not be able to break a bolt lose that a quality 1/2" breaker bar and cheater pipe broke loose in no time.

What I do is take a breakerbar then tkae the 4 foot handle off my jack and stick it on the breaker bar this gives me like 4 feet of leverage.

I skipped that bolt, and undid the sway bar and ball joint so the arm can swing down. Came apart real easy and the shock comes right out.
