I ordered the EBC x-drilled rotors and the red stuff brake pads,
does anyone have these ?

What should I expect ? performance ? brake dust ?

I have both, only I got the green pads.

There virtually no brake dust at all. Great stopping power. The only thing I noticed that was peculiar, was that as the slots pass through the pads they make a sound. Going fast it sounds like a "ch-ch-ch-ch-ch" At first, it was extremely noticable. Maybe this is common on all slotted rotors. You will also hear it in the car with the windows shut.

Just pay attention to the directionality of the rotors. There is a right & left stamped on the inside of the rotor. Also, the rears are different from the front.

Why did you get the red pads? those are for high speed heavy heat use....?

I got the red ones b/c I'm going for 425whp so I'll need the extra stoping power.I might be doing some track also.

You should bed the reds in and then only use them at the track, they are really not a street pad. Then get some greens for the street.

Hawks hps or project mu b-force ?

I am a fan of the Green stuff pads, they are on my other cars (no dust or squeaks and they stop on a dime) and will be on the Z when the time comes to replace the stock ones. Others here like the Hawk HPS too, so I imagine either of these would be fine for daily street use.
