New NISMO bushing kit ...

Sorry for the delay in posting my impressions .. but I have been on frequent business trips and not enough "Z" drive time.
Well, this past Sunday, September 4, I took the Z out for a 150 mile "shakedown" on primarily mountain twisties. I had the bushing kit installed at the same time of swapping out my S03 PP's for the Michelin PS2's. It has been very difficult separating the 2 impressions -- wish I could have done the bushing kit with the S03's -- but that was part of the deal and final setup with alignment.
I don't find the NISMO bushing kit to be a dramatic change .. but rather, a subtle one. The Z corners flatter and a little more precise with a more "hunkering down" feeling on the corners. There is absolutely no noise from the bushings .. nothing. The tuning shop did a great job .. more time than expected .. but very professional and exacting.
Question is .. would I do the NISMO bushing install again if given the chance ? The answer is .. yes - the handling and overall precise feeling has improved with this addition.
However, handling is my top priority .. and anything that can improve the overall setup, suspension, and drive feeling of the Z has my attention. I am still trying to find the ultimate suspension setup of the Z.

I contacted Ken @ Japanparts.com and got a quote for this kit. It was quoted in Yen, but it was around $450 dollars shipped.
Jason, will you be selling for less than that??

hmm this makes me want to reconsider the 350EVO bushing kit...
ok so I just ordered the 350EVO bushing kit. I figure if I'm going to spend $1600 to install bushings, I might as well install some bushings that you can seriously feel and make a big improvement. 350EVO obviously offers the "best" parts usually so I'll post my review when I get them put in.

yeah I just talked with 350EVO about their bushing kit.
It's 6 bushings
they say they're the most critical bushings, the ones you want to move very smoothly with precision. They said the nismo kit does all the bushings - so like what fairladyZ in Japan said 22 bushings total.
So I'm actually not sure what the labor cost is going to be now. Sounds like it could possibly be less than $1600 to do all 22 of them since there's just 6 of them.
He said these are completely seperate from the control arms they make - as in I was asking if the kit would have some overlap with bushings from their camber arms since they also have spherical bearings. He said no that the arms are a totally different thing. Was probably a dumb question, but I wanted to double check that 2 of those 6 bushings weren't ones that already come with their front camber arms
He said they will stiffen up the ride a little, but won't be unstreetable by any means.
They do offer a full out race setup with replacing all the bushings with some other hard material, but says it's really for race cars only and is extremely harsh riding
I'm not sure when I'll get them installed. It depends on when I get them. I have a million other things I'm planning on getting done by the end of the month so I'd say I'll have a review for them in 2-4 weeks. My car is getting the emanage ultimate, some minor things and some tuning done today

fairlady... thanks for the review. glad you feel the kit is worth it. so i'm assuming since the nismo bushings are just hardended rubber you are not getting any squeaks or noises? do they add any in cabin road noise?

1/ Yes, the NISMO bushings are hard rubber.
2/ Again, there is absolutely no noise -- same as stock. No squeaks, rattles, nothing -- both inside and outside the cabin.
We made ours this summer from aluminum. The subframe bushings need the other bushings to be done as well to really reap the benefits. There was a difference, but not dramatic.
