mchapman ... I am not really able to answer your question -- I don't often spin the tires and never really had any problem with wheel hop/axle tramp. Also, the new PS2's have added another dimension.

eh well update on the 350EVO spherical bearing kit

over 2 months later and I still don't have em. They say they have 3 of them at their shop, but they can only make more if they do a minimum amount of orders.

Someone is buying one of their race cars and is possibly wanting spares made, but isn't a sure thing yet. Anyway, after 2 months of them holding onto my money and still no kit, and still no definite answer on if they're going to be able to make the other 3 to complete the kit, I asked for a refund...

sorry guys, I was going to go thru with it, but eh they say it'll take at least a full day to get the bushings in anyway so that's getting to be about $2000-2500 for the kit and labor etc. I'm not sure it'll really worth that much money in the end.

I'm doing FI right now (vortech, aiming for 420-450whp with my setup) and getting married so I could use the extra money instead of messing with the bearing kit.

Good news (maybe .. hehehe) ... you are getting married. Congrats !!

Bad news .. Very sorry about the dumping of the 350EVO bearing kit .. and also sorry about the seemingly demise of 350EVO. Damn ... would have loved to hear some direct feedback regarding that setup.

yeah someone needs to come out with a urethane kit and sell them by the truckload cause everone who wants good handling will want them

hell if I care if it squeeks a little - gives it character. Every component of my car makes some sorta noise that the stock part doesn't.

I've had Prothane (urethane ribbed) bushings on my Stillen sway bars since installation 10k miles ago-0 squeaks, 0 problems. 100% satisfied. +1 on a total urethane kit-I'm sure it would make a signifigant difference in overall feel and handling. On a side note, the fact that Kinetix uses urethane bushings (w/grease fittings) on their front and rear camber/traction kits has always appealed to me-despite a couple of negative reviews. Maybe waiting for the SPC kit is a mistake???

we asked Energy about this awhile ago - they had 0 interest as they said the stock bushings, with a couple of exceptions, were excellent

IMHO, the only bushing that lacks from the factory is the front lower transverse bushing....the factory one allows for alot of play and alters castor as the steering wheel moves

they did not make any specific reference to which would be a candidate for replacement, as they felt the factory ones were about as good as it gets for 95% of the modding public
