Should I replace my springs?
hey guys -
so i just bought an 04 Touring with only 9k miles. The original owner kept everything stock except for the springs and wheels/tires.
He went for the Eibach Pro kit springs for a 1" drop and replaced the wheels with 19" Volks GT7. The car looks great with that combo.
My complaint is that the car rides a bit too bumpy and its ground clearance is too close for comfort. I use the car as a daily driver and am not really looking for racing performance.
I know going back to the OEM springs would look odd with the 19" Volks, so what other springs would you guys recommend for a more comfy ride and not too much drop? I read somewhere that the RSR Ti2000 springs are a good choice - any comments on that?
Also, will I be ok with only the springs changed or do I need anything else (struts...etc) and will the car need allignment afterwards?
Thanks in advance for any advice! great forum!
