So for those who didn't read a prior thread I finally got a set of Line Logs installed and took it to the track last night.
I can now do perfect standing burnouts for as long as I want, no fishtailing whatsover. FANTASTIC feel, very smooth, none of that jerking or speed breaking crap anymore.
I still haven't had a chance to take pictures, hopefully this weekend.
I can only recommend this mod for the serious drag racer ranning on slicks.
I have never hooked up better...of course I was hooking up so well that I kept on bogging like hell...so now I once again have to relearn to launch...but that's a different story.

I had Brainstorm install it, It took them about 5 hours.
It's very straight forward but flanging the lines is a pain in the butt and takes forever especially if you want it clean. Look at the pictures on how well the lines have been bent.

I know they did a great job for mrtomcat but innovations performance did mine and it was only about 1.5 hours. It really isn't that much work. Glad you like it mrtomcat. It also works as a good parking brake when you don't feel like grabbing the e-brake, lol.

here's a more detailed description:
A Line Lock is a solenoid (in the z's case two solenoids) that gets in between your master cylender and the front brakes.
When you want to do a burnout you press the brake pedal, pump it a few times and then press the line lock button and hold it down, that closes the solenoid keeping the front brake pressure. Then you release the brake pedal.
Now the rear brakes are relased while the front brakes are still engaged.
Now you can do do a standing burnout as long as you want, no fishtaling and no wear on the brakes. When the tires are hot enough you release the Line Lock button and the front brakes get released and you move forward.
Now when it's time to launch you do the same thing, no need for the ebrake or anything.
This is how the pro's launch and do burnouts.
