guys everytime i bleed the front passenger i get air coming out of it. ive been doing it for the past 5 mins. and it happens everytime when i first release it. and then it doesnt happen again until i tighten it back up push the brake pedal 5 times and then release it again and more air comes out. i do not see and fluid dripping anywhere so i dont think i have a leak in the line. do you think that theres just that much air in there?? all the other brakes bled fine and have no problems its just the front passenger.

help!!!!

dont mean to hijack the thread, but i had the track brembo's installed and the pedal feels a lil mushier then the OEM setup. i have an enthusiast model so im guessing the master cylinder is a different size from the track's. would changing it to a track's help me w/ the pedal feel?

i think you might just have some air in there still
i finally got mine back to the way it felt before last night after sometime.
the pedal is now solid and does not go soft when pushing on it in the middle. now when i push on it it travels about and inch slowing down the car gradually (unlike before) and then after that inch the brakes grab like crazy.

thanks for the help

no you are ok there...

master cylinder is the same...

could you be getting some knock back? is it only after corners or bumps?

no its just a lil mushier in general. i guess it doesnt have the initial bite as my stock brakes? it has nismo pads on it. but i kind of like it cuz its easier to slow down smoothly cuz the brakes dont bite hard unless i press the pedal down further.

THis is a long shoot,

How fast do you pump the pedal between your bleeds ?
If you do it too quickly, you might be foaming your fluid.

I think nismo pads are a bit aggressive for everyday driving. Maybe they just never get at operating temps...

I hope you get your brakes firmed up. It would be a hassle to have to grab a 05 brake booster also.

One thing. I'm not sure if one can install these backwards but if you install the calipers with the bleeders on the bottom (vs the top) you will never be able to get the brakes bleed correctly. Some nissan guys installing the 300z 4 pot calipers have run into this problem. (install on maximas/240s etc..)

front to back or back to front really won't make a dramatic difference in terms of bleeding...but it is a bit of a process and needs to be done properly - take your time and let us know how you make out

there is 0 need for the NISMO fpr on an NA car
