hi i currently have a 2005 350z with only 3011 miles... ive been hearing squeeking noise from my brakes everytime i stop.. i took it to my friends shop and he said the brakes were fine, and told me to take it to the dealer, so i took it to the dealer but they said the brakes were fine and there wasnt any noise. i was wondering if anyone had there brakes worn? or squeek at this mile? is it time for an upgrade to hawks hps pads? or take it to da dealer again and tell them to take a ride with me to let them hear my squeeking? thank you

They squeak because they are made to squeak. Racing brakes squeak because they are made of iron and steel. All brakes on a sports car will squeak wether you have the OEM ones, brembos, brake upgrades, BB kits. I am surprised you don't know this. You shouldn't be driving a Z if u expect it to be quiet.

Actually the original brakes on my Z hardly ever squeaked, but they left an immense amount of dust on my front wheels. I got the hawk HPS pads because everyone said they were the best/ lowest dusting/quiet. They even say all over their website that their pads provide extremely quiet stopping. And yeah, actually, I do expect the $30k car to be quiet, whereas my brother's '86 300zx $1300 car i do not, but he doesnt have squeaky brakes, yet I do. Whats up with that?

Try taking the pads out and spray the shims with brake cleaner and wipe off all the dirt build up. Then spray the blue disc brake quite on the metal back of the pads and reinstall, remember to put the shims back the way it was. I just did this to my rear and the squeak is gone. (for now)
