Default Complete brake failure in wet conditions?

Whoa! Just had the scare of my life. I've driven in torrential downpours before, but never had a problem braking. Brakes felt perfectly fine yesterday (dry). Brakes were fine this morning in the wet. But I went to run an errand... tried stopping from 35-0mph and got nothing. No brake feel whatsoever. Pressed all the way down on the pedal with full forced expecting ABS to at least kick in. Nada... but it was finally able to stop me ever so slowly.

Freaked me the hell out. Tried it again and again, same response. Anything I should look/check for?

Have the front brakes checked. In a heavy downpour, wet rotors may feel sluggish initially, but you're creating a lot of heat(should be). The hot rotors should evaporate any water. Again, have the brakes checked.

Same here. OEM Brembo's with HPS pads. I've only had them for about 3 months. Don't recall if I've ever driven with them in a ridiculous storm before. But I know I've driven with the OEM pads time and time again in flooded areas. Interesting.
