ive only got about 6k on my Z and im starting to hear the brakes screeeeek. its not a horrible sound but it just seems odd that my brakes would already begin making noises. any suggestions as the what has caused this?

what ive heard was its caused from brake dust.... mine started screeching when i only have 4k miles.. -_-;;... but yea the dealer and my personal mechanic said the brakes are fine.... so im thinkin of cleain them? or changin them to aftermarkets...

 

How often do you clean your wheels? If I got like a week without cleaning mine they get noisey. Its from the dust building up. Just hose everything down real good when you clean your wheels and you shouldnt have any more noise.

 

mine just squeels when it's cold out. i have 31000 miles on my OE pads and still have PLENTY life left; even after 5-6 autox events.
