With stopping power identical to hitting a brick wall.
First off. I think it's a bit overkill for normal road use. Second, just because you can brake on a dime doesn't mean your tires will get the message. I have seen brakes lock up even in dry conditions. Anyone dissagree?

That seems way overkill to me... 6 pot was created for pad wear, heat, etc. not for clamping force. Is anyone getting seriously uneven pad wear from their 6 pot calipers? But you could be the first on your block I guess...

well if its found on race cars why not on a street car?
street car technologies usually come from racing anyways...
its like our car is as fast as a ferrari 355 10 years ago...
so i'd think that every car is gonna have 12pot brakes 10-15 years from now on

I e-mailed Tarox (another 12-pot caliper maker, saw name above) to find out what would it take (in terms of compatible offsets, money, etc) to put their system on 18" wheel Z (front and rear brakes). I'll post whatever info I get from them to share. BTW, how good is tarox anyway?
BTW, LLTEC Brakes (in case some is wondering and hasn't found out) will not fit our car, so much for taking advantage of their 50% off 6- and 8-pot caliper sale. Oh well...
