Default Brake swap possible?

Would it be possible to use skyline brake calipers that many 300zx guys swap out on a 350z? I'd like a bbk but they're so damn expensive and im just concidering my options.

Why is this not possible? I think i may have confused some cars.. the 240 guys put 300zx or skyline rotors on their cars..not 300zx in skylines, but they may too. who knows.

Yeah i definatley wrecked that first post lol...
240 guys sometimes use 300zx or skylien brakes..
i know some 300zx guys who use skyline brakes..
can 350z guys do the same?

We bolted up a R32 GTR brake kit to a 350Z spindle just to see what would happen...

Basicly the caliper bolts rite up... so then we mounted a hub and rotor... the caliper needs to be spaced further out so everything clears...

so if you made a bracket (spacer of some kind) then it would work... how secure it will be, i cant tell you for sure...

a new front R32 GTR brake kit is instock ready to ship for $950 plus shipping...

we put them on 240's and Z32's all the time...

U don't sound too sure about that spacer. How is the original caliper mounted? (wishes he had service manual)

well, then the caliper isnt kept inplace with the spindle.. like how the factory wheels are hub-centirc, it will not move out of place up or down before the luts are tightend (centered on the hub) when putting a spacer on it, the wheel then is not centered unless it has a hubcentric ring sticking out into the wheel hub...

the caliper bolts directly to the spindle... they are set into place, if they are spaced forward it will not be perfectly set into place and relying on the caliper bolts holding it in place...

Ill take a pic of the spindle and post it...
