Default @ 49.7K Brakes Squeak Everytime, Should I change rotors too?

I bought the car used at 24k. I'm at 49.7K now, and my brakes are squeaking at every stop.

Should I change rotors too or just pads?

sounds like it...

Ddi you use stock parts last time?

I would try the Stop Tech Stage 2 kit this time...

Measure the thickness of the rotors. If they are within specs, keep them. If you replace the brake pads and keep the rotors, have the rotors turned.

I haven't touched the brakes at all. I've been easy on my car since I got it. Maybe that's why they've lasted this long. I can't afford an upgrade kit yet. I will order some Hawk HPS pads from performancenissan.com Thanks!!

Consider this about the OEM rotors. If I can get 50,000 miles then I'm sticking with OEM rotors. There's little point in "upgrading" to a aftermarket rotor, and getting 30,000 miles.

Those Hwaks works great with little dust only. I got mine at Pep Boys with life time warranty cos Performance Nissan was out of stock at the time.

consider yourself lucky. i changed my fronts at 15K, rears at 28K, and i think im close to needing new fronts again now at 32k.

i do a lot of drag racing so im not about to dump $100 into front end brake pads that wont last me a year. i get mine from muray's for like $37 fronts and $34 rears. near zero dust, zero squeek. pads are pads as long as they dont use metal chips to make them. they will all stop you just fine.

Turning and Resurfacing the rotors sare the same thing right?

I'm thinking about bringing my rotors this weekend to O'
Reily's, I know they resurface them for like $10 each.

Correct: turn, true, tune, resurface is the same. I would want new pads and a fresh rotor surface.
