Front rotors
Can someone tell me if their factory rotors shows the following behavior:
Run your fingers across the front rotors. Do yours feel rough? I have 12000 on the car and when I was having my tire patched the tire guy pointed it out to me. If I run my fingers across the rear rotors they are absolutly smooth. I don't race the car and thought that is rather strange. Can anyone tell me if that's just how the front rotors are?

I suppose you are talking about the worn area: the area which the brake pad presses against? Smooth or rough its OK. When it comes time to replace the pads, turn the rotors. They will be smooth again.
