Default Stainless Lines? Goodridge or StopTech

Anyone have any insight into Part #22074 Goodridge Stainless Steel brake lines or StopTech Stainless Steel brake lines for the 350Z Touring? Current plan is for street use only but since I will be changing my brake fluid, I am considering changing the lines. Also, anyone ever order from Import Replacement Parts, LLC?

Thanks

Both brands have a good reputation. Both brands offer a good product. The question is though whether you need to replace your brake lines. Being only 1 or 2 years old, they can't be showing cracks in the outside rubber protection yet. This usually happends after more than 7-8 years. And the argument that teflon lines with ss braided outer hose give you a harder pedal, is not true for the 350z. Theoretically it is, but this is not noticable for "humans", as the OEM lines are that good and a brake pedal can only be really hard when you have a competition brake system without a (vaccuum-) booster.

Hope this is of any help to you.

P.S. Good that you are going to replace the brake fluid! Most people don't while they should!

Another option is the Russell (Edelbrock) stainless brake lines. For the touring model, these should be part number 686910. They are much cheaper and should offer the same performance and quality.

I think the jury is still out on that one. I noticed zero difference... Any noticable difference is likely a psychological one.

Technafit is another co. that makes SS lines for our cars, with and without Brembo.
