Default Ebay Nismo Sway Bars...ripped Off??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

So I win this auction in ebay and it says, "Up for Auction is this new set of Nismo front and rear sway bars for the Nissan 350Z coupe and Infiniti G35 coupe 2002-2005. They are both brand new and have never been installed. They just have light scratches from being on floor in warehouse." They took forever in sending them to me and claim that it is because they supposedly decided to use a different e-mail address to conduct their e-mail business or something like that. Ok fine, whatever. When I received them this afternoon and opened the lamely, bubble wrapped package (it wasn't even in a box, just wrapped in bubble package and tape with a sticker of my address on there) they looked dirty as hell. They look used, (grimey) dirty and more than just lightly scratched. If I knew it was used, I wouldn't have bidded so much. I only bidded so much cuz the auction said that it was practically "brand new" cuz it was just a display model or something. I mean if you're gonna send someone something u said was "brand new", but u knew it was used wouldn't u at least hose it up and at least make it look clean????? It's the principle of the whole thing, though. I took pictures of the items that were sent and saved those pix that were on the ebay auction. I'm planning on disputing the auction thru ebay. What would you guys do???? I feel jipped. BTW, are the the NISMO labels on the f/r sway bars just a sticker that can be easily taken off as it can be put on??? cuz thats what they are on the ones given to me.

Man, after getting a bodykit for a mirage I used to have as my first car, I don't trust Ebay
They were scratched as hell, have been painted, and the funniest thing that the only thing that fitted was front bumper. One sideskirt was lonnger than the other, and one sideskirt was silver, while other one and rear bumper were blue. Font bumper was green(Unpainted)
So, I don't trust them anymore!!!!

Sucks dude, frikn lame ebayers. Not sure there's much you can do except try and return them to the person you bought them from and try and get a refund and give them a poor rating for the product not being as advertised. It is pretty much buyer beware so complaining to ebay won't get you very far except maybe to have that user banned if they have a lot of verified fraud complaints.

If you were lucky enough to be able to pay by credit card you might be able to get them to do a charge back, if you used a credit card through paypal, paypal will only give you your money back if you never received the product. You can still try and do a charge back but you will get banned by paypal. It's pretty much a lose-lose situation. My wife got ripped off buying some concert tickets using a cc through paypal (she never received the tickets even though the seller said he sent them). she had the credit card company do a charge back because paypal pretty much tolder tough **** and she got banned for life, but at least she got her money back.

Good luck, let us know what happens.

They are only 8.5 wide so they aren't for the Z. Or at least I wouldn't run anything that skinny.

liudacris, those Nismo wheels just came out his year.

The gunmetal ones are more of a deep anthracite color, and are SWEEET.

But uh, yeah...I don't trust eBay. I got screwed on skateboard parts in college, and unless it's an eBay store, I won't do it.

you know that is very true. so true that as long as it (sway bars) does its job and i received them right after i paid for them, i shouldnt care too much.......but its the principle. lets take the situation down a couple notches like lets say i won a pair of BRAND NEW adidas track shoes that were just display models at foot locker or sumthin. i receive them, but it looks like someone ran a mile with them on a track cuz of the red grime and scratches that are on them before sending them to me. i can STILL wear them though as long as it does its "function" right?? but the problem is that you bidded on it as if they were brand new and now you're stuck with a pair of obviously used shoes. That's dirty in more ways than one.

I've bought over 100 stuff in ebay and i've received them pretty much the way they were pictured and described in ebay (i've been lucky?)...this is the first time i've ever been screwed over.
