Default Lowering Springs kills stock shocks

does lowering springs kill stock shocks very easily? i have the track model, and planning to install the KG/MM DR21 race springs. let me know if anyone have problems after installing springs on their car. thank you!

If they are a much higher spring rate than stock then they will wear your shocks out faster.

yes. a stiff spring on a stock shock is not the way to go. i've done springs only vs. springs & shocks - it's night and day. save a bit more for shocks too

I'm not too sure what the spring rate is on S-Techs, but has anyone experienced premature wearing with these springs, using stock shocks/struts?
