I was hearing squeaks during my first week with my car. Everything goes to sh*t when your perfectly good brakes squeal in public. Might as well be in a beater car. Im on my way now to the brake section of this board.

so... eh~
it all depends on how you drive
if you were to replace brake pads, check out nismo R-Tune pads...
very good none squeek pads, you can get f/r for about 240 bucks... (kind of steep) but they are definately good pads.
the only noise i got is from my rotors..
Mr. Pee is correct...it all depends on how you drive. Wear rates are all over the board, and can't be attributed to any single reason. Number of stops, length of stop, starting and ending speeds on stops, distance between stops, ambient air temps...they all play a role.
We find that many noise issues people have are related to not having the pads bed-in properly. Check out this article on our site:http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp...contents.shtml
