Default dropping the z an inch

I was on the tire rack website and was thinking about lowering the car with the eibach springs an inch. I would like to hear some opinions about this. I have a touring model with stock 18. Will this change the ride of the car? If anyone has any pics of this can you please post them so I can see the diffrence.

If you have the money you should just get the Nismo Suspension, lowers it 0.8" and improves the handling of the car a lot, while your add it you should add some Nismo Sway Bars to, the combination is awesome.

IMO this setup improves the ride over the stock setup, which is a little bouncy sometimes..

I think around 1" is a perfect drop to close up the fender gap a little while still keeping the car streetable and sleek.

I also think Eibach makes some great products, however, they are horribly over priced. Look into Tanabe! (http://www.tanabe-usa.com)

I also sent you a PM BTW!

I did the same Eiback kit with 20's and I love it. Its stiff but no bounce.

Tanabe GF210 1" in the front 1.2" in the back. Much better feel than overly bouncy stock springs.

I'm still going with coilovers because once you drop you can't stop?

19's on the Z are the way to go for street use IMO because they will look perfect!

I think 20's are hot too but a bit too big in terms of rotational mass.

I will be running 19x9.5 and 19x11 Work VSXX or some Weds, I just can't deicde yet

Joseph - given that you are a fellow LI'er, the Eibach will be a great choice - very comfortable, and a moderate drop.

Eibach is not overpriced by any stretch of the imagination - the company has a pedigree that is simply unmatched.

As for wheels, if it were me, I'd go 18's - again - our roads are horrendous, and the car really rides far nicer with 18's vs 19's...but in the end it's up to you and what your budget allows

Ok, ok, I take my statement back. I agree with you about being unmatched and also have to add that the are one of the original pioneers when it comes to performance suspension

But, you have to agree, Tanabe springs are also of great quality and priced significantly lower; even after all of their R&D costs. I just believe that with Eibach you are paying a lot for their name

You won't find me backing Tein springs though. I will sell them but you won't find me supporting their company *cough* inconsistant spring rates *cough cough*
