Brembo Brakes & Hawk HPS Pads squealing... what'd I miss?
Installed Hawk HPS pads today in my Brembo brakes. Used anti-squealing lube & bedded them, but I'm still getting a squeal in the back during low-speed braking. Not the kind of attention I'm looking for. Searching through the forum, some people are getting squeal, and some people aren't, but I can't find any consistancy as to why.
I'm gonna try putting the stock shims back in tonight, and failing that, I'll go back to stock rear pads, till I can find a better solution than Hawk HPS for the rear.
1) Should I just give them more time to get bedded in better?
2) Any other suggestions? Car's going in for service next Friday... worst case scenario, I could get the rotors turned, but I'd prefer to avoid that expense if possible.
Thanks,
Joe

Per advice from another forum, I went through the process of bedding again. This time 10 deccelerations from 80mph-10mph... all hard braking. Seems to have done the trick.
edit: 60mph to 10mph, not 80...

I have the same issue, but I just step on the brake harder when they start squeling and they shut off.
+1 on the bedding process. I was told this work, but wasn't told until after mine were broken in.
