My mission was to pull most of the negative camber out of the rear of my car so I could put more of the tire on the ground under hard acceleration. The SPC kit did just that.

Install: Very straightforward, too me about 2.5 hours because I take a lot of breaks. I followed protocav's write-up ( http://members.***.net/turbonetics35...oltinstall.pdf )because the instructions that come with the kit flat out suck. I do have a few minor things to add to his write-up. The rear sway bar must be partially removed to remove the stock inboard camber arm bolts. Also, I highly recommend removing the rear springs and the entire spring buckets to work on the toe bolt holes. Makes it all much easier.

Alignment: I run 295/35-18 BFG drag radials and with my stock alignment on Nismo S-tune suspension the inside portion of my tires wore much more quickly than the outside portion. With the new arms and toe bolts, I had my alignment shop take my rear camber from -1.5 degrees on each side to -.5 degrees. They were still able to pull the toe in spec with plenty of adjusment to spare on both the arms and the toe bolts.

Driving impressions: I just had new DRs put on, and so far it looks like this was the way to go. I didn't sacrifice much handling, and I'm definitely getting more rubber to the ground. We'll see how it does on the drag strip.

Overall, I'm really happy with the SPC setup. Very high quality for a bargain price and it adjusts the toe the RIGHT way.

Where did you order your kit from? I'm looking to buy also. What is the factory spec for camber? I know its been said before but I wasn't too sure. I thought -1.5 was ok in the rear but I'm probably mistaken.

Min: -0.17
Nominal: -0.58
Max: -1.33

Rear Camber
Min: -1.08
Nominal: -1.58
Max: -2.08

 

I got my kit from Import Auto Performance. -1.5 degrees is in factory spec but I didn't want factory spec. Factory spec camber in the rear with my 295 tires and hard acceleration equals a very small traction patch. If you're looking to buy because you lowered your car and it's out of the factory spec then this kit is a great buy for that too (actually what it's really intended for).

 

I ordered mine today, but my car is not lowered. But damn it seems my camber is beyond -1.5. Im still on the stock 245's and its wearing the insides like crazy. Hoping this will remedy that. Can you visibly see the wheels tilted at -1.5 ??? If not then mine are beyond -1.5 cuz I can clearly see mine are tilted

 

I could cleary see my wheels tilted at -1.5 degrees at .5 it looks like they are straight up and down.

Could changing the camber also help with wheel-hop? Sorry if my questions are dumb. Ill be the first to admit I dont know jack about suspension

I've got mine set to -.8 deg and you can BARELY tell there is any negative camber if you look at it from the right angle. Traction is still an issue.

Negative camber in front is still ugly. Been thinking about buying some front a-arms. From what I heard, SPC is releasing some?
