Default Hotchkis springs installed

I installed them last night. Everything went rather well. It took me a little bit longer then usual. I guess I'm a little rusty right now. The back was SSOOOO easy, but the fronts were just a pain. Nothing was very hard, but the lower strut bolts were really hard to get out, and the top of the strut took forever to unbolt.

In any case, the ride is really nice, and if i never told anyone it was dropped, they probably would never have realized. Yes, the ride is that good. But the drop, is almost insignificant. Most dont notice, and it even takes me a second to see it. Its just not a big drop. They said F+R would drop less then an inch, and they werent kidding.

I'll post pix tomorrow when i get a chance. Basically i love the ride and a bit better handling, but wished it was a little lower.

Why'd you get those over the GF210's, S-Techs, or others? I'm just wondering for my own personal interest in getting springs shortly.

s-techs lower less then the hotchkis plus they lower more in the front then the rear. GF210's, you can run into camber issues and your shocks and struts are gonna take a beating. GF210's are great if your planning on upgrading the shocks and struts. Some people have been able to realign with GF210's and get the camber back within factory specs but some people have had to get camber kits.

Well i bought my hotchkis because i didnt want to lower more then an inch. But then again, after installing these, i wish it was a little lower. I also heard about how good these ride, and they do not require fixing your camber alignment, so i went with these.

sorry not pix yet, but i'll do it.

I installed Hotchkis springs on my brother's Z and thought it was a nice drop. It's not a huge drop but certainly is noticable, especially in the rear. Before drop, his is the Daytona Blue Z:

After:

I'd highly recommend the entire TVS package with sways as a first mod.

Are these hotchkis springs all you need to install this thing or you need shocks and stuff.
