Hi guys, I have a big problem. I just changed the rotors and pads and I hear the usual hiss that you hear on new rotors which will be gone soon.
When I come to a complete stop from 10mph to 0 it sounds like metal grinding, it sounds horrific. While I'm driving there's a slight hiss like there's a tiny bit of metal rubbing against the rotor. The guy put anti-seize on the pads and stuff, I can't figure it out. I sprayed Cheetah grease on the caliper and it alleviates the problem for a few seconds. The stopping power is awesome, they get cooked by the 5th or so stop from 60mph-10mph but that's to be expected with OEM non-Brembo.
Car is an 03' Touring with 37k on it, brand new OEM rotors and pads.
Is it safe to continue driving like this?
