Default Cheap F40 Brembo calipers-how hard to make a custom kit?

Ok I found some very cheap F40 calipers on cheap-bay, he wanted $650 to end it early but right now they are only $300, radial mount meaning they are universal and work like a lot of stoptech and how the brembo big brake kit works.

Parts needed:

-hats/rotors (replacement rotors from stoptech in 330 or 355mm weren't that expensive)
-SS lines ($100)
-brackets made from someones big break kit, I think just about every aftermarket company uses the same bracket for the 350z/g35 (rotora, stoptech, brembo)

I think it's possible to build a Grand Turismo Brembo kit for quite a bit less then the $2500-$3500 they go for, but how much cheaper??

$$1500 for a complete new kit possible?

It was some ridiculous cheap calipers on ebay for a couple hours and then poof gone. It is difficult to put together the pieces from scratch as I have tried and searched around. Brembo wanted $500 a piece for Aluminum hats!

So say you got a deal on these calipers for $600
-lines $100-130
-alum hats $1000
-replacement rotors-$500 maybe?
-brackets from brembo=vasoline in the butt-$300-800 if they will sell them

over $2000 realistically just for the front. Better buying the ones I have for sale in the classfieds for $1000 complete front brembo OEM setup.

I don't quite understand what you're talking about now. Are you still planning on piecing together a kit?

I do have a pair of Rotora 2-piece floating 330x30mm rotors that I'm no longer using....
