Default Weird Clicking noise from left rear tire area

I was on my way to work this morning and there suddenly was a weird clicking noise coming right from the left wheel. I sounds like metal on metal and it gets quite when driving 60+ but on the street and especially in the parking lot it's loud consistent.

I can't for the heck not figure out what that is, everything looks tight and fine, nothing is visibly rubbing.

Anyone have any idea on what that could be this is driving me crazy?

Rock or nail stuck in the tread of your tire? Rear axle clicking?

doesn't sound like a nail. Could be rear axles clicking...what could cause that?
I'm also going to check if my GT-Spec Lateral bar came loose

When my axles were clicking, it would happen after reversing with the initial acceleration in 1st then it would stop. The fix action was to lubricate the mating surface of the outer CV joint to the wheel bearing. After this was accomplished I have not had an issue since. This was done almost a year ago.

it started when I reversed this morning but it won't stop after going out of first, it is however quite above 60mph.
but this is definetely worthwhile looking at

Does it sound like this? http://s42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...leClicking.flv

I chopped down the original video to isolate the clicking. It's kinda faint but you can hear it happen 3 times. Photobucket screwed up the audio a little in the original clip it's much more audible

sooo frustrating!

I took the wheel off and checked if the TPS sensor maybe fell in, nada
I checked the GT SPec Bar if it was loose, nada
I checked if the exhaust is loose, nada
I checked everything around there and nothing seemed loose

I took it for a drive and the noise is still there.

It sounds like a metal plate hoping up and down on another plate...if that makes sense

I'm taking the car to perfomance nissan tomorrow, hopefully they can figure it out

there's a tsb on the rear axle clicking noise for 2003 -2005 Zs so a trip to the dealer may be in order.

I just got baack from Perf Nissan, as I thought it wasn't the axle it was one of the TEIN Dampeneres, it got loose, they think maybe because of the new springs settling. They torqued it up again and voila, no more noise.

Once again Performance Nissan to the rescue, Tim kicks ***!
