Has anyone ordered any of those slotted rotors off ebay and had any issues?

I know you get what you pay for and the "old saying", but I purchased my Eclipse DVD Player on Ebay for half the price and it is solidly working for 2 years now without a hitch. So I do give good deals on Ebay a chance. I just want to see if anyone has personally had experiences with these types of rotors on Ebay.

$47 for shipping? Typical of most ebay shippers!

A head unit is one thing. It is not a critical element of your car like brakes.

I wouldn't do it. I just got my StopTech Stage 2 OEM kit: https://my350z.com/forum/south-west/213150-got-my-stoptech-kit-pics.html I'm deployed right now so I can't give ya feedback on it. Go here for a lot of questions and answers to it: https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-suspension/196921-stoptech-stage-2-stock-caliper-upgrade-kit.html

i remember someone saying that the holes aren't part of the casting process, or even considered in the casting process, and then they just drill them... and then they brake...

Thank you to all the people with useful comments. My local shop is offering to sell me brembo drilled rotors for $155USD for each rotor. So I remember Ebay offering around $150USD for all 4 rotors.

On another note to address a comment that was made... There is nothing wrong with asking a FORUM for information/experience on a producet before you buy it.

PS: Has there been any D.I.Y. for changing rotors? I learned how to change my brake pads from this forum and it would be great to learn how to change my own rotors.

Go to the tirerack and select 350Z Track brakes. Plenty of options for rotors.

so the only problem with these types of rotors is that they might warp or something?? Not to come with the silly question. But what exactly is the danger of purchasing some OEM sized drilled rotors? I was in the market for the stoptech 2 kit, but im seriouly curious about what are the dangers of buying rotors like that off of ebay? thanx
