Unhappy brembo brakes from 03'coupe to 04'roadster

hi all,

i've an 2004 roadster, and i am thinking replace the stock
brakes by the brembo calipers and rotors from a 2003 coupe.

this operation is plug and play? any problem or suggestion?

brembo kit from jn1gaaz33u0003200
to JN1AZ36A74M250011

thanks in advance,

best regards,
victor

Victor- The OEM Brembo calipers and rotors should fit onto your Z Roadster with a little work. The fronts bolt right up, but the rear calipers use different bolts for mounting (same length, different thread pitch). If you're purchasing these used, be sure to ask for the mounting bolts as well. The rear dust shield is also too small to fit the Brembo rear rotors, so you may have to use a pair of side cutters or sheet metal shears to trim them off. Be sure to leave the parking brake off when you lift the car, otherwise the rear rotors won't come off.

Hope some of these tips help-

my intention is to only buy front calipers and rotors,
reason why i understand that i will not have to make any kind
of adaptation
thank you very much by your commentaries

Victor- I'd recommend installing the rear Brembos as well. The Brembo package works extremely well together and takes just a little more effort. Follow the tips in post #2 and you'll have a very special roadster.

BREMBOS will work on yiur Roadster, they were even an option on the Grand Touring Roadster in 2005 but for the money you will spend on a new kit, it is better off to go with a BBK that will be more bang for your buck. STOPTECH, Project Mu, Endless, any one of these BBK's will surpass braking performance over the factory BREMBO's. We have a Endless BBK for sale, https://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=212442
