What does everyone think of H&R springs?
I have them and they appear to be of good quality, but I am unhappy with the drop on the rear. I replaced both shocks and springs at the same time. The front is perfect but the rears I would say only dropped about ½ to ¾ inch, I have a 2 finger gap between the rear fender and the top of the rear tire.
I am not sure but I think the springs were designed for the stock shocks. I replaced mine with the Tokico D-spec.
What I might end up doing is removing the rubber spring seat in the bottom bucket and replace that with some sort of thin rubber gasket.
If you looking to get the springs I found Tire Rack to have the best price and quick delivery.

prob too soft for track work, i daily drive only. Drop is very low, but even! Bump absorption is identical to a 3series Beamer - i.e; soft over bumps, firm through corners. The springs are progressive. Through long fast corners you can actually feel the springs loading up and the damping getting firmer. Perfect compromise imo for daily driving
im putting a set of cusco sways on tomorrow, interested to see what they do considering bodyroll atm is pretty much non existent

my beater, pictured, has H&R springs on stock shocks, and the stock shocks seem to be holding up well. I dont know which series they are, its pretty stiff, felt a bit more compliant over potholes after fitting a strut brace

I'd need to get a better look at the spring seat for figure out sizes, but one of the old school tricks to that setup is to use longer bolts, and some crush sleeves to drop the seat a little bit to get more drop.

I dunno, my hotchkis leaves a little more gap in the rear. Not too bad, but it's similar to the pic of the H&R
Finally went with the Tanabe GF210's and I absolutely love them. Great drop and looks beautiful. Alignment is a bit off spec but managable. Not sure if I will eventually need new shocks or if the stock shocks are good enough. Anyone with some info let me know.
