I would stay away from K-Sport and D2 products. They buy these parts from cheap taiwan manufacturers and put their logos on them. Then lie and tell everyone that they designed the parts.

i will be that first-hand review guy i guess. i do track the car frequently so hopefully it will be a good review. by the way, i am talkin about the D2 purple stuff, not the ksport one.
the reason why i am willing to try them is because i've seen the setup in person. i feel that it's a quality piece and the price i am accessable to is not too bad.
i will soon, have a 2nd-hand impression... the vehicle (S14 w/ vq35det) that's equipped with D2 8-piston units (8-piston ALL THE WAY AROUND) is not on the road yet. i probably wont get the front kit until i see/feel/hear for myself.
so give me few months... we will see what's up

If I tracked my car I would be going with a proven manufacturer. There are too many proven brake kits out there to be experimenting with a questionable product. Stoptech has a million pad choices for street and track use and is a US company with a good history of racing. Parts are easy to get such as pads and rotors. Endless, Alcon, AP, Brembo, Project Mu all good choices.

the owner is skeptical about his setup too... but if it works, it works. if it doesnt, he will do wutever to get it done right haha. and the car does have a "show" aspect to it... one of the reasons why he wanted to TRY 8-piston all the way around.

You guys should be aware that these are small pistons. They have a kit for maximas as well and we were all excited. All though these are 8 piston, they are 8 mini pistons. Probably comparable to the 300ZX TT Aluminum calipers that have 4 big pistons.
