this sounds stupid but could i use revised shocks for unrevised springs?

The spring rate must match the shock valving. They work in conjunction with each other. You're question is a little vague. Care to elaborate?

Been their done that, answer is yes.

Differance is that your asking the rear shocks to dampen 20% less spring rate. Rear shocks do not get anywhere close to a overdampned in actual use with the softer unrevised rear springs.

A much bigger change will come from the fact that the revised shocks have a whole lot less compression dampning. But, they also have a whole lot better rebound control. You will be kiling off a lot of bounce and freeway porposing. I liked the unrevised shocks high compression dampning, but gave up living with the bounce and porposing a long time ago.

so it is a good setup to get unrevised springs with revised shocks from a 350z? or should i get both revised springs and shocks?
