Default Hotchkis Clanking???

hey guys I'm thinking about buying some hotchkis lowering springs for my z. Just wanted to know what you guys thought about them first of all and if anyone has any pics with them with 19's. My main question though is this... I read some reviews on a website and two were really good and the other one said something about if you don't get some kind of seat for them that they will clank alot. Is this true? and if so what kind of "seat" do i need to get and how much would it cost? any input on this product would be greatly appreciated.

I Thought I had a clank when I first installed mine, but it turned out to be something else. So I have had no problems with the springs at all. I love them. Sorry, no pictures, my 19's are off for the season.

I never had any sounds from my install. But on the front springs when you take off the stock springs you will notice some type of thin plastic/rubber gourmet. I took this off and put it on the Hotchkis spring. No problems with alignment either. But still get it checked.

we've done a ton of them...never a noise issue at all

sounds like that person had a problem with their specific install
