For conventional cars I buy rotors at Napa for 25-30 apiece, made in China, but never had a problem. But I'd be a little leery of these, not to say they are bad, but just leery. Bottom line is the quality of the steel. Of course China is buying all our scrap ( the reason steel prices have skyrocketed in the US the last couple year )

installed my front crossdrilled/slotted R1 concept tonight, bedded them in and everything works and looks fine. i don't think i'll be working on the rears until this weekend.
A breaker bar was used to loosen those 22mm bolts and the front rotors came off w/o any issues. Took me less than a couple of hours to complete. i reused those recently installed tirerack canadian ceramic pads. For those who are contemplating getting the R1concept rotors... i'd say it's a no brainer, you can't lose for 170 bucks(4rotors) shipped.

Well, there is about 15% improvement on initial bite over the stock rotors, well worth the investment IMO.ATTACH]Attachment 142186[/ATTACH]

the rear rotors are installed and again with no issues, both rear stock rotors came off just by hitting them with a heavy hammer and a 2x4.

i'm quite impressed myself to tell you the truth. i was skeptical at first just like everyone else here until i actually put them on the Z. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and dare to say that these rotors are at least equal to if not exceeding oem specifications. Since i do mostly street driving, i don't see why the rotors wouldn't last just as long as the stock ones.
