ive been using centric rotors since i found out thats what stoptech uses.
i laugh at all my friends who pay 200-400 for rotors for any car. i get a set almost as cheap as turning used rotors.

Usually a semi-flat looks nice. It's purely cosmetic and nothing will happen to performance. It might have been said before, but it's not just R1concepts rotors that rust as it's natural and happen to all iron rotors sooner or later. Hope this helps those who've had this problem in the past.

The pad will not touch the painted area. I was careful cutting and overlaying a heavy paper template.
The color is semi-flat black engine enamel similar to the OEM rotor.

So did anyone with an OEM Brembo setup try these R1's (for Brembo) and have 10K miles or more? What's your impressions? Same as those without the Brembo package? What pads did you go with?

I have the R1 rotors with my Brembos. They work and fit great. I'm not overjoyed with the PosiQuiet pads though. They lack good initial bite, but they are low dust and are quiet.

i've had RI concept rotors all around for over a year using green stuff pads. These 170$ rotors are holding up just fine, better than the stock ones for sure.

I just got my car back today from Rob. My first impression of my new brake setup is pretty good. The pedal feels a lot stiffer with the SS lines, the rotors look dead sexy with stock Brembo's, and the Posi Quiets are a bit soft but they seem like a great daily driving pad. The Project MU inner shoes work as they should, they keep my car stopped in one place. The feel of the e-brake when you yank on it feels much better but that's also because they adjusted it. Overall I'm satisified on day 1 with these new brakes. One more thing, the Posi Quiet's definitely live up to their name, there's no brake noise coming from them whatsoever.

Zombie thread ftw, lol.
I love my drilled and slotted R1 rotors; GREAT customer service. I called them two months after I got mine to complain about the rusting around the inside of the rotors and they sent me out a new set of rotors coated entirely with Zinc or whatever it is. Unlike paint it doesn't damage the pads when you burn it off.
I put them on immediately and spend the next hour burning off all the crap under the pads. I have to admit that watching and smelling my brakes smoke as I drove I found rather entertaining for some reason.

Can anybody clarify on these pads? Like do they have very minimal dust, little to no noise, and do they brake better than OEM?
I have a 04 enthusiast std brakes.

These are basically all my choices. I'm trying to order the rotors and pads on the same site so its cheaper. Does anyone have any experience with any of these pads? Also which ones match best for the stuff I'm looking for (no noise,no dust, better performance than OEM) at a good price?
