Default AXXIS Pad has Shims?

Attached is a picture of the new pads im installing with my Stoptech Stage 2 kit. The one question is, on the pad itself is that a shim? and would i need to install my oem shim on to them?

Thanks

If they come with new shims use them , if not dont. Either way use something like CRC anti Squeek spray

Yes, that's already a pad shim. My stoptech 13" front kit came with axxis ultimates as well with the same shim on it. You do not need anything else. Just make sure you bed your pads in correctly and you won't have an issue with noise. I don't have any.

I think I'm running the shims from the stock Brembo pads with my Axxis Ultimates. I'll have to doublecheck next time to be sure...would that be a problem?
