RedlineRed350Z: You're right - I transposed the numbers - .8 front, 1.2 rear - sorry about that.

The drop is subtle - what I like most is the reduced wheelwell gap - looks more 'symetrical' than stock IMO.

More importantly - it just feels better to me.

H&R usually comes out with a spring that doesn't drop the car (OEM match) but gives you a better spring rate.....maybe they've got something in the works?

Now, that I would be very interested in if its true. I will admit the Eibach's drop is subtle, but I am sticking with a stock ride height. I think progressive springs, I assume they are?, would help the ride and handling a lot, so I will be watching for them. Thanks for the tip.

Kraig, thanks again for those rear pics. My 18" mercury silver TEs have arrived in CA and should be shipped to me in a couple of days! I can't wait to see them on my CS. They are over 45lbs (w/ tires) less than the stock set up!

Talking Eibachs on!

And only Eibachs. Stock rims and tires, etc... (well, and tint, and short antenna...)

Sorry for the dirty car...

H&Rs that I had on my IS300 droped my car by a lot: 1.5 on the front and 1.7 on the back. That's what I am waiting for. Drop is necessary when you put 19s on the car otherwise they look ugly.

I'm actually putting my car back up tommorow... After driving on the eibach's for a bit I like the better ride, but have decided that the handling has actually suffered a bit, the springs are softer than the stock ones in initial compression. Plus with a body kit coming I don't think the car will clear very much sitting so low. Plus in the back it's starting to sag a bit and looks almost tucked....The car looks better sitting at stock height, i thought i'd never say that...

Has anyone had any rubbing issues with aftermarket springs?

No, but has anyone had a problem with lowered cars needing a jack or a lift to raise their cars? I understand from several owners and techs, the stock height Z is really hard to raise; the lowered cars could be a *****.

Yea, I went to a shop that used airbags first to raise the car before they put it on a lift because it couldn't drive over the lift.

I knew there was a reason not to lower the car just yet, if ever.
