Could you guys email us pictures of your install and information about the nature/history of the noise? Given the quality and size of the rod ends/bearings we use, these endlinks should not make any noises unless there is a binding issue somewhere or something is loose. Perhaps we can diagnose the issue by email, too bad we can't go over the car at our shop...

I thought hotchkis recommends nonlithium based grease as the lithium based stuff is water soluble and washes out easily

Hotchkis set to medium front & rear with no noise. Could also be the axle clicking as others have said.

I checked my sway today and they plenty of grease.
Hotchis sell a special Kit that fixes the movement somewhat.
I am still not sure that will fix the issue.
Any help, please....

Good news. I dropped my car off at the dealer (Motorwerks - Barrington, IL) for this. The mechanic (Larry) replaced the bolts on the bottom links as they barely made it into the thread lock and tightened the jam nut. NO MORE POPS, CLUNKS or KNOCKS! Very nice.

I have no had any opportunity to get my car on a lift. I am working 70+ hour weeks right now. I know for a fact that everything is tightened down, but they are clunking louder than ever.

It is important also that they are installed in such a way as to allow the bearings full articulation under suspension travel, if any of the bearings are binding, then it would also cause noises

I installed new bushings, used new white grease even installed the collars from Hotchkis.

It's the endlinks. I had mine tightend a few weeks back. However, the clunk is back (sounds like a bad movie title). I'm thinking of reinstalling the OE sway and endlinks.

It is very fustrating that no one is contacting us directly first to try to resolve the issue... there are alot of adjustments possible on these endlinks and it is critical that they are installed properly so they do not bind up under suspension travel, which will either cause the hardware be damaged or loosen.

Here are the important things to look for -- Make sure the jam nuts that set the length of the endlinks are tightened first. AFTER the jam nuts (as well as other hardware) are tightened, make sure that in the installed position all the spherical bearing (*****) can be simultaneously centered (ie. the ***** look like they are in the center of their movement/rotation range). This is critical to ensure the endlinks have good articulation. The endlinks should look like this once everything is tightened:

In particular note that rotation/position of the spherical bearing ***** relative to the rod end housing. Sometimes tightening the jam nut improperly can cause the bearing to "pre" bind, so the endlink cannot move properly under suspension travel, which will of course cause the endlink to be damaged or for the hardware to loosen.

If there is any uncertainty, please email us with a picture of the endlinks as installed on the car, and I can verify that everything is installed properly. If we cannot get the endlinks working properly for you, we'll take them back. We have these endlinks on cars with lots of street and track miles with no issues, but proper installation is critical. Unfortunately, alot of shops do not know how (or do not care, since it takes extra time/effort) to properly install suspension components with spherical bearings...
