Default EBC rotors any good??

It's 'bout time to get new pads and rotors. I made it 40,000 on stock ones! I found EBC slotted rotors for $168.00 a pair .... http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/pe...8&brandid=3199

I dont track my car, but my rotors are ready to be replaced, and i wanted something a little better. Anyone have any experience with these?? Thanks!

I have them on my 2004.5 350Z. And they are pretty good rotors. Just one thing that is annoyng is that it makes a swooshing sound. The box on the EBC rotors says that the noise will go away but, it didn't. The noise does not bother me anymore as I got used to the noise. I remember some member said that EBC has some new rotors that does not have the swooshing noise.

Overall they are a good upgrade in my opinion. I paired mine up with the Red stuff EBC pads and they have good bite to them. I'm going to try the Yellow stuff pads when my fronts wear down. Other members have these and they like them. They will probably chime in once they read your thread. I have attached some pictures of my car with them for your viewing pleasure.

I have tried both the Sport and Ultimax. Drifter23 is right on about the swooshing, its not loud but noticeable with the windows down. I then went with the Ultimax, they are dead quiet, I will probably by them again.

The rotors are mounted backwards in the pics. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

We sell rotors for BMW like that where I work. You can mount them either way. The pads wear better with the slots facing backwards IMO. They bite better when facing forward.
